Today is the annual International Women's Day.
International Women's Day is celebrated in many countries around the world. On this day, women's achievements were recognized, regardless of their nationality, nationality, language, culture, economic status and political position. Since its inception, International Women's Day has opened a Xintiandi for women in developed and developing countries. The growing international women's movement has been strengthened through the four United Nations global conferences on women's issues. The commemoration of International Women's Day has become a rallying point for women's rights and women's participation in political and economic affairs.
In 1977, the General Assembly officially decided to regard March 8 as the "United Nations Women's Rights Day and the International Day of Peace". In the same year, the General Assembly of the United Nations adopted a resolution requesting each country to select a day of the year as the United Nations Women's Rights and World Peace Day in accordance with its own history and national traditional customs. The United Nations initiative has established a national legal framework for achieving equality between men and women, and has raised public awareness of the urgent need to improve the status of women in all aspects.
Today is a day for all women. Let's celebrate!
